FAQs

We are now retired! We thank the Dayton area for a decade of wonderful bridal memories. We recommend Bahar & Reza Bridal for all your bridal needs. Their boutique is located just 2 blocks down the road at 2308 Far Hills Avenue. Please visit their website www.baharreza.com or call at (937) 294-1039 to book your appointment.

1. Do I need to make an appointment?

Yes! In order to best serve our brides, we require appointments for all visits to Louise Christine Bridal Boutique.  Appointments may be scheduled online or by calling our store.

2. How many people can I bring?

Our guest limit is 4 people (ages 12 & up) plus the bride.

3. What is your price range?

The wedding dresses in our shop range in price from $699 - $3,000. Please note, the availability of sizes and prices within the sample gowns vary! Please call with specific inquiries.

4. What sizes do you carry?

The dresses available to try on in our boutique range from bridal size 10 - 28. If you would like to know what your approximate bridal size is, please read question 5! We do not have every style available in multiple sizes, so please call us if you have questions or are looking for something specific!

5. What is my bridal size?

In our store, your bridal size is approximately 2 or 3 sizes higher than the clothing you wear on a daily basis. For example, if you wear a pant size 8, you may fit comfortably in a bridal size 12 - 14.

6. Do you carry plus size wedding dresses?

Yes, we carry plus size wedding dresses at Louise Christine Bridal Boutique. We have dresses in store available to try on up to a bridal size 28. Our section of plus size wedding dresses vary in style and price. If you have a specific style or budget in mind, please feel free to call us to check availability.

7. What should I bring/wear to my appointment?

Most brides wear comfortable clothes. While wearing a bra trying on dresses is optional, we ask that brides wear underwear (nude color is best). If you plan on wearing a shaper, a corset, or any other specific undergarment on your wedding day, it is wise to bring it with you. You are also welcome to bring high heels, or any other specific shoe you plan to wear the day of the wedding. We do not provide shoes for trying on dresses, but we have pedestals for brides to stand on while viewing themselves in the mirror.

8. Do you buy wedding dresses?

Unfortunately, we do not buy wedding gowns either worn or unworn.

9. What are your hours?

We are open by appointment on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday.

10. When should I shop for my dress?

We recommend shopping for your dress approximately 10-18 months before your wedding. However, there is no such thing as shopping too early! Or, if your wedding is coming up quickly, we would love to show you our off-the-rack styles that would be available to buy and take home the same day!

11. Do you have in-house alterations?

We do not have an alterations department in our store. However, Louise Christine recommends Bahar & Reza down the street for any alterations needs.

12. What designers do you carry?

We stock dresses from many popular designers:

Martina Liana, Essense of Australia, Stella York, Justin Alexander, Anne Barge, All Who Wander.

Please note we do not carry all styles by these designers. Please call with specific dress inquires.

13. What is the difference between a Bridal Appointment and a Styling Appointment?

A Bridal Appointment is an hour and a half long appointment that allows brides to shop for their wedding gown and build their look all with Louise Christine products. These appointments book Tuesday through Saturday.

A Styling Appointment is a 45 minute long appointment that allows brides to perfect their wedding dress with all the accessories carried by Louise Christine (veils, headpieces, belts, jewelry, overskirts). Your dress does not have to be from our store. These appointments book Tuesday through Friday.
